Hi John ---- this thread is starting to sound like a commercial for Sterling's Magic! Add my name to the list of those who use it. I clean nearly every chip before storing it (the only exceptions: obviously mint chips with no discernible oil or fingerprints on them, which makes me just the opposite of Greg! <g>).

Magic not only makes the chips look cleaner, but also restores richness of color to older chips which have been washed out (by sunlight or perhaps cleaning with water, which BTW is a BAD idea for most chips).

Magic is cheap and a tub seems to last forever (I have cleaned almost 1000 chips with mine and there's enough left to do another 5000 at least).
