Re: Brooklyn Casino Boat
In Response To: Brooklyn Casino Boat ()

Don, The Max 1 began sailing from Key West just before or just after the first of the year. When I was on it, along with my fellow Florida chipper, the casino manager took me on a grand tour of the operation. As I recall, he said that the boat was owned by a management group that ran the Ritz Carlton in Puerto Rico. The boat is a modern, upscale one, with all new decor. The food was excellent which is unusual for these day cruisers. He also assured me that the boat would stay in Key West! How wrong he was. I spoke to Chris a month or so ago, & he told me that the boat was headed up to Brooklyn. It would be interesting if they used the same chips. They had a $5 & $25 Commemerative, as well as their regular chips. This boat is much nicer & rides more smoothly than the Liberty 1. If you go out, let me know what chips they are using. Thanks in advance.
Bob
