Hi Gene ---- what about Mickey money (issued at Disney attractions and spendable at any one of them; also encouraged to walk as souvenirs)?

Or gift certificates from any one of a variety of stores? They are as good as cash at their one location -- and actively promoted for sale and removal from the premises.

You may be exactly right about the intent to comply with currency regulations, but it's hard to imagine anyone seriously thinking that casino chips are as good as money ... as well all know, they are far superior to anything Uncle Sam is issuing!! <g>
