I may be a bit skeptical and all being from New York, but frankly I don't believe the man. How did he get the chips? I always find out where the chips are from when I buy them. The fact that he is a dealer indicates that he should know better, you are responsible for what you sell, ignorance is no excuse. Finally, if he was genuinely not aware that he was selling casino chips and apologetic, how could he be "insulted at the mere hint that I am offering items that I knew were fantasies". If it were me I would apoligize, period. I would also offer some action to correct the situation. I wouldn't come back with an attack. For what its worth, that's my two cents.
