After the posting on the improperly described fantasy chips, I went hunting on eBay. I didn't find the chips noted, but did find an offer for $500 Scandia and $100 Scandia which were listed as if the casinos were presently opened. I sent as polite a message as an Upstate New Yorker is capable of drafting to the seller advising him that the chips were fantasy chips and that he ought to describe them as such. This is the message I received back. I think that he has made an appropriate response. However, I will watch for his future offerings to see if he continues to list them other than fantasy chips. I told him that I and any member of CC&GTCC would be pleased to give him info on any chip he proposed to sell if he would only ask.

I was not aware of what you are telling me......I was under the
understanding that it was from a Norwegian cruise ship line. I apologize
that I didn't know but am insulted at the mere hint that I am offering items
that I knew were fantasies. I am not a chip collector....I do not care
about chip and just buy and sell them! I am a general token and coin
dealer.
