Bill, Just to add a footnote to Greg's comment, this is the reason many casino's especially small mom and pop card room establishments, will not sell partials to collectors and in many cases, not even the $1.00 chips.

I would think, however, that they might realize that this is a very inexpensive way of advertising.

On the same subject, I will pass on this bit of information for chippers who go on chip run's or who visit many different casino's. I ask to speak to the shift manager (preferably the owner at a small place) and tell him that I am on a chip run and will be more than happy to advertise his casino for him if he will give me a t-shirt or hat to wear on my travels. You would be surprised how many of each I have accummulated. And I do, in fact, wear the particular article of clothing that I may receive, and get many questions asked by players. That is about the least expensive way of advertising I know.
