I was so glad to see a write up in the Club Mag, of one of my favorite casinos to collect from: The Orbit Inn.
The $100 N1991 chip knocked my socks off at my 1st convention at the Riv, and I had to have it. I paid nearly $100 bucks for it, but it was worth it.
I began to collect the other Orbit Inn chips, over the next year or two.
I was the person who discovered that the .25 cent N3807 chip had lc and sc versions. The Chip Rack, et al: were kind enough to include them in later Chip Rack Editions.
I know The Club Mag only had one page to showcase this casino, but there's so much more: It was the first casino to be partially blown up in a suicide attempt. Really!
Maybe we could expand on Casino stories in future issues, it might help us get a fan base back, instead of focusing on showing the entire convention in pictures. Do you think A new viewer or subscriber wants to see pics and stories of something they didn't attend?
What was the Club's Publicity Director doing? How does showing just folks at South Point promote the Club? And Why didn't we see any posts from the club's publicity director on when this was all happening?
In the recent issue the recruitment of new members was discussed, but if the Publicity Director does nothing, then how do we expand?
I know a lot of folks here don't like my opinions, but if you want to grow your publicity dept needs to be reworked! I've been saying this since 2008 or so!
