So...I sent Chat GPT on a quest to find the first posting of Gene's using the term 'floor sweepings'.
It look a while and examined 10,000 (yes: ten thousand) of HIS posts starting back in 1998 before it found his first use of the term on Jan 31, 2003 buried in this thread:
