One more says "Zeke’s Imperial Lounge, located in Elko, Nevada, issued a 1972‑D cent encased in aluminum as a “good luck” token", and of course the AI picked up all of these, including our posts. The infinite echo chamber, (sometimes with disinformation) is pretty strong with AI.

And finally another search produced this. "No historical marker, museum record, or local history account in the provided data mentions an “Imperial Lounge” in Elko." So good luck. I feel no closer to a real answer, but at least some speculation and memories of residents can bring it closer to being from Elko Nevada.
