So I ended up going down a rabbit hole around the Fremont Street Experience. Specifically around what casinos 'own' Fremont Street Experience, what happened to the public property under the canopy, etc.

The results are much more than can be shared here. And the ownership apparently changed over time. For example Plaza used to be an owner, but no longer is. Same for Lady Luck/Downtown Grand. El Cortez being over a block away from the end never was (but they DID issue a chip!).
