They are NOT a casino collectibles specific auctioneer. They hold auctions that target different demographics. I don't think the CCA wants to be everything to everyone so it's not a fair comparison (or target).
Now that said, could the club loosen the rules and allow non-casino items/vendors to buy tables at our show? Maybe. Could they change their mind on ALLOWING (not condoning, necessarily) slabbing and grading? Maybe.
Do I think that would materially change what the club is? Not at its core. It would generate more revenue at the show, I'm sure. As much as I put the club under a financial microscope this past year (and the upcoming one as well), I'd have to see what the board (and the members) thinks of those things.
