I slabbed mine for the show and didn't get any real pushback. Yes you can still open them and I asked the buyer if they didn't like the case I would swap them out. I think they looked awesome but no push back from anyone. Much easier to pack and unpack and not everything I brought was in a slab holder because not all chips should be slabbed.
