Some Good Ebay Shipping News

Howdy everyone.
So, last night it was business as usual. My auctions started closing at 7:00 P.M. Pacific time. At the same time, the new listings were being posted every minute for 40 minutes. After the auctions close and the new ones are listed the first thing that I do is send invoices.
Generally, a few orders have already been paid for and if there are multiple auctions involved I issue a shipping refund to max anyone out at $4.99. I also go ahead and print their shipping label and pack slip so I can make sure I have everything ready to go Friday morning. I am usually at the post office by 10:00 A.M. with a nice group of packages to get scanned in so all buyers know the post office has possession of the chips. That way the tracking is in motion. If I just drop off, sometime they don't show up in the system until Saturday.
Anyways, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the 4oz and 8oz increments were still being used by the Ebay shipping system. None of the packages were defaulting to the 15.99oz price as I discussed in my previous post a few days ago. I'm not sure if Ebay made a deal with USPS because they are such a big fish or if I got lucky. I printed a few more shipping labels this morning after they were paid and it was the same result. The packages were based on weight and the shipping prices changed at 5oz and 9oz. If anyone else is experiencing the same stuff or different stuff please post. I hope it remains like it used to.
Thanks to anyone who bid or won last night - it's very much appreciated!!!
