Jeez - the OP sounds like me.
I too despise the "show ID" to attend a show BS. Heck, I damn near got into a fistfight with Archie Black over the BS requirement a decade ago and refused to register.
Rich Burgel (RIP) came to my rescue back then because he was POed that a known ca$h paying customer was outted at the registration desk. Poor 'ol Club Chairman Sheldon actually tried to mediate the initial dispute and was not on top of his game, to say the least.
After the morASS was aired on these boards, I was invited to return to the show the next day. I came accompanied by two bodyguards (err, SouthPoint security guards) and strutted around the floor in glee.
This CCA organization has some policies and A-holes, err people, that are not user-friendly to say the least. The word dumbass comes to mind. Maybe that's why they killed the prospects of chips ever becoming investment-grade collectables when they stupidly said "No" to slapping. The idiocy continues, just look at the upper right hand corner of this page!
Go back and re-read the original post and ask yourself if you don't think he is right and then consider correcting the errors in your ways!
Too bad it's too late to say "yes" to slabbing! (or 2 bad it's 2 late 2 say yes)
