I'm sorry you didn't have a great time at the show. Those of us who put alot of time into helping putting it on of course want our attendees to enjoy themselves. That is our NUMBER ONE goal.

I'd like to address a few of your comments, and would love to hear back from you. We are always looking for constructive feedback from our attendees so we can make our shows better. Feel free to email me and I can send you my phone number if you prefer.

Concerning the registration practices. It was always been our policy to verify identification before entering the sales floor. Its mainly for security, but it is also to check that pre-registration packages are picked up by the correct people. The name tags/badges are used by the door security to know who to let in. Without a badge/tag, they aren't supposed to let people in. Again, this is mainly for security.

The practice of checking IDs and wearing name tags is not unique to the CCA show. I had to show proper ID at the ANA convention and even at a small show for a local historical society I'm a member of. I assume this is common practice.

I can't comment about the interaction you had with someone in line. I would hope they were just trying to helpful, but I can't speak to that.

I see Steve has already commented on the pull tabs. I've known Steve for a long time and I can promise that he is committed to everyone at the show to have a wonderful time. He is one of the MOST authentic people I know. I would chalk it up as a misunderstanding.
