I offer a heart felt Congratulations to Ed Hertel and Bob Pardue on their election victories. I wish both of them success and look forward to working with them for the good of the club.

I would also like to thank everyone who supported me, voted for me, reached out with questions, or took the time to discuss the hobby and the future of the CCA during this election. The confidence and encouragement many of you showed me means a great deal.

While the election did not go my way, I believe the conversations that took place over the last several months were valuable. One thing that became clear to me is that our membership is passionate about the club and its future. Some members are eager to explore new ideas and new approaches, while others value the traditions and history that have made the CCA what it is today. Both perspectives are important, and I believe the club is strongest when we listen to each other and continue learning from one another.

Many members may still consider me relatively new to the club compared to those who have spent decades in it. I respect that history tremendously. At the same time, I intend to remain actively involved, continue volunteering, and continue advocating for ideas that help strengthen the hobby and the organization.

One of those efforts will remain building stronger connections between the sets collecting community and the traditional singles collecting community. I firmly believe we have far more in common than differences, and there is tremendous opportunity for both groups to learn from one another.

To that end, I would encourage any CCA member who is curious about sets collecting to visit PokerChipper.com. Ask questions, explore the resources, meet some of our collectors, and see how we approach the hobby. You may discover another side of casino chip collecting that you find interesting.

As for me, I'll be at the convention.
