The two rows of Carousel chips at the top of your page is what started me collecting chips from outside of Atlantic City…
It was about 30 years ago while wandering through an indoor flea market in Myrtle BeachFlorida, while visiting my mother in law, when I came across a vendor who had a large display of casino chips for sale. Among them were a few stacks of these Carousel chips. I asked the seller how much he was asking for the sets. He replied $18 for each set. Not knowing anything about the chips but thinking that was a reasonable price to pay, I purchased two sets of each variety, one for me and another set for a good collector friend back in NJ. That vendors name was CT Rodgers, it was the first time I met him and we became very good friends until his passing several years ago.
