We've bought dice that had intact logos, and years later they resembled what you're showing (part or all of the logo being a colorless indentation)...I've always believed that it's the effects of age on the unstable materials that old dice were made from. I seriously wish I'd documented our dice many years ago!
The only "solution" that I'm aware of is using a crayon to fill in the impressions. An imperfect solution, at best
