In case anyone is attempting to chronicle Golden Nugget chips, the first time I gambled in the Golden Nugget was 1976 and they were using the GN mold chips, including the $5 that said “rooming house”. Gaming tokens or Ikes were not yet used on the tables there. I was way under age, but I acted like I owned the place and was never asked for ID. And yes, I was was a coin collector saving chips even then.
