The Route 66 "America's Highway" strike you refer to is from the Four Queens ....
The "Official" 2019 SOTY & HOF winners as voted by the members of the Silver Strike Club
are not from the same casino.
The 2019 winner for the "Official Silver Strike Strike Of The Year" is a nice strike from the
Route 66 Casino in Albuquerque, New Mexico (Strike Of The Year)
The 2019 winner for the "Official HOF Silver Strike" is a nice strike from the Plaza Casino In
Las Vegas - Vegas Vic (Hall Of Fame)
The above strikes are the only 2 strikes that the Silver Strike Club Members recognize as the
"Official" 2019 winners. I do understand that CCA votes on a Strike Of The Year, but we do not
recognize it as the "Strike Of The Year" within the Silver Strike Club, because there can only be 1
"Official" Strike Of The Year" (SOTY), and that is the one voted on by Silver Strike Club Members.
The "Silver Strike Collectors Club" is totally independent of CCA. It is not an affiliate of CCA, nor
is it chapter of CCA. We have our own independent club, dues, slate of officers, by-laws & annual
get togethers at the Four Queens 2 times a year in January & June for our Tournaments.
Just as CCA chooses their chip of the year, the "Silver Strike Club Members" submit nominations
for Silver Strike Of The Year (SOTY) and Hall Of Fame (HOF) Strike, and then votes on them to
determine the "Official" winners for "SOTY & HOF"
Hope this clears up your questions ....
