This month’s Guest Speaker is Max Smilow, currently the General Manager, Terrible's [Road House] Hotel and Casino, Jean, NV. He has risen through the ranks of Hospitality, using analytical business solutions, and good old fashioned human kindness. Building a career on the principal that information capital and human capital are two equally important variables in the equation of commercial success. He has fruitfully accomplished several of his own personal goals. Max's experience through the corporate ranks has served as a scientific stage in which to test his theory of success; workforce management. Using the stilts of his personality, respect for fellow team members and clients, and a keen intuition for data analytics, having personally tested the theory that sheer information bears little impact on the bottom line without the support of human capital. Similarly, having nothing more than a smiling face, leaves much to be desired in the way of economic propulsion. It is the perfect blend, the harmonious balance, of these two great concepts that have attributed the fantastic growth of his career. It is with this dogma of stability that he has been able to grow and excel any organization that he is a part of.
There will be a 50/50 Raffle for cash and/or prizes which is quite fun! We have some great prizes that have been donated by our Club members, as well as from local vendors.
If you are not yet a member, or, your membership has lapsed, I invite you to join the SNCCC. An annual membership is only $12.00, payable at the door. You are, of course, welcome as a guest to see what we’re all about and you can bring your friends as well!!!!!!!!!!
Our meetings are short, which gives you lots of time to socialize and gain knowledge about whatever interests you with casino memorabilia.
On behalf of the SNCCC, I sincerely hope you will join us and hope to talk to everyone there.
