There are a lot of good greyhound resue/adoption organizations that have started in the last 3 decades. Prior to that it was not good. I remember a well publicized case about a security guy at a Florida track who was found with over 3000 Greyhound caucuses on his farm in Alabama. ( Google it, it's probably still there) He had a business killing unwanted racers. There is a reason Florida becomes the 41st state to ban Greyhound racing.
