My buddy and I first stayed at Vegas World in the 80's also Michael.Soon after the Challenger exploded so 1986,or 30 years ago !Just one of those Stupak deals for 3 days and two nights,something like that with free drinks and the $250(?) in freeplay.If I recall correctly they were tokens given out and if you won,you were paid in chips.Never kept one,but still have the hot-stamped Vegas World plastic pouch we got on check-in.Also visited Caesars and Barbary Coast and a few other casinos that first trip.Of course one of the first chips I bought online was a $5 Vegas World.
