I know how a lot of old coins end up in circulation. Kids and others steal them from collections and just spend them. My daughter ran into a lady during a work session that said that she had her father's coin collection and that she was just going to put it in one of those coin changing machines at Walmart! I bought the collection to sell at the antique mall and there is about $2000 -$3000 just in silver value in there.
