I bought my very first e-Bay chip from Joe in August of 1999. He was a super nice guy. I went up to his penthouse apartment on Wilshire Boulevard in Westwood to collect the chip (a $5 Dunes golf course chip). He gave me an application for the CC&GTCC and I immediately sent it in and became a member. As Walt said, Joe came to the meetings of the Southern California collectors club at Hollywood Park... those were fantastic, but too many of us are now gone.
