Thanks for the clarification, John. So, if an effort was made to get younger people involved, and they expressed interest in doing so, do you feel that would be helpful or detrimental to the hobby/club/organization (choose your favorite noun)? To be clear, this has nothing to do with your observation that you don't expect to see things change. I'm looking for your sentiment regarding its potential effect on the status quo.
