From a Canadian perspective

I find the membership very expensive , for me with getting magazines and the postage is over $60 per year Canadian , this
cost could be dramatically reduced by axing the magazine in favour of a monthly or quarterly newsletter delivered online
that if a person wanted to keep the information it could be printed at home. The club could still get the ad revenue from the
virtual magazine ( many clubs and organizations run this way today due to cost ) a person that want the printed magazine
could incur the costs . In place of the magazine I would prefer to see research booklets or mini catalogues on casino collectibles
that could be published by the club for a nominal fee (cost) without all the ads , something that you could add to your bookshelf
rather than a wall of magazines. Any booklet or research paper to be approved by the BOD . These could be on anything casino
related from matchbooks to ashtrays , I can almost think of endless subjects that would really benefit the membership and also
creating a small library for the membership and collectors. Instead of an award winning magazine we could replace it with reward
winning research papers.

Just an FYI , I am a member of a number of groups and clubs , and all others which are just as vibrant have a cost associated
of less than half.

Hope this read was not too drawn out ... but thought I would throw my 2 cents in the ring,

Happy Chipping and hope to see many of you at the convention!
