My EBAY horror story

I sold two(2) casino chips to (Johnson.michaelG2012) a.k.a ~Michael G Johnson, 2038 N. 109th Street, Avondale, AZ. EBAY mailing address was 10165 W. McDowell Road, which is a PARKING LOT @ EL POLLO LOCO, across the street from the office he owns: Johnson & Assoc. P.L.L.C., 10320 W. McDowell Road? Package was delivered on July 3 ~ returned to P.O. and picked up July 6. On July 19. I got a notice from EBAY for a refund: Arrived Damaged (broken Chips). I contacted buyer and asked to see the plastic chip holders and bubble envelope, he says they were thrown away. At that point I had two options, give refund/send shipping label to get my items back or give refund and leave items with him. This is the first broken chip claim by any buyer in 15 years and over 1,200 chips sold. Please tell me what you think, Thanks

What was the total in $$?
Ebay: burden is on seller, not buyer
I have never yet had one instance ~~~
EXAMPLE: Seller offering a partial refund.
Re: EXAMPLE: Seller offering a partial refund.
The chip was €7 and shipping over €5.
It doesn't take much (pressure) to crack an old ~~
