Hairline crack in the mold.
Because modern day plastics don't need as much heat as clay the Chinese make the molds out of lightweight alloys nowadays as they are cheaper to produce but they don't last as long.
Surprised we don't see more of this.
Is the Harley Davidson lettering round the rim supposed to be that poor? That looks like mold wear.
