Is it possible the listings can be lost during updates? No. Items can be deleted, but usually only if they are a duplicate.

I notice several of my submissions which were entered years ago, have very recent dates of being updated and do not notice any changes. Is this a maintenance procedure? Since 2017 every update (add, change, delete) is logged and I can tell you exactly what changed, when it was changed and who made the change if you provide the ChipGuide#

I just tried to locate a CG number to include in a description of a chip I was planning to submit as instructions to where it should be listed, and I don't see what was once there. It is possible that it was moved to another location when we got information about the item.

Also, whenever I submit, I get the red text saying it was accepted though, during the past week I do not see any of the chips listed... and two of the most recent submissions were listed without my name as submitter. I fixed the one where your name was accidentally left off. Below is list of your most recent submissions with their status. All have been processed, except for the one that was submitted yesterday.

I have been updating some listings with opening and closing dates and addresses, and I do not see the updates. Please provide the information and I will see that it is entered correctly.

Could it be possible these updates are being deleted accidentally during the update process? No. There are 2 ChipGuide databases - the one that the Admins work on (Development) and the version that the public sees (Production). Every night at 3am Eastern Time the entire Development database is copied over to the Production database.

Once a submission is accepted and the entry made, is that original submission still on an index... and, are original submission images saved? I ask because I notice some of my images being poor quality and not the quality they were when submitted. Does this happen when I see these recent update dates? We save the previous version of an image when it is replaced. The admins can restore a previous image if necessary.
