Interesting to see other paint jobs too. I know those exist and there's even a TV show that covered that same method applied to the Valley View chips (counterfeit painted $100s from lower denomination, I think the $5).

What I'm still wondering is what the base chip was. This was a house mold chip with the $100 denom on it. I don't see anything else on the MOGH that would match what was needed other than say an error chip (assuming only one group of 3 spots was painted) and even then that would not explain the faux inlay.

I love interesting stories/mysterious like this so please keep the input coming !
