Bottom Line in chip collecting ID (identification)

~~~ is what the chip says....not political news, not newspaper articles (we know how wrong they can be), not postcards (we know the level of fantasy on them), not online auction titles, not misinformation in online casino listings... and certainly not "somebody told me that..." which can all be misinformation. The fact that when a casino chip has a city name on it or some other form of location name is most likely correct.
Casinos do not have the name of a neighboring town on them in place of where the casino was located... and, even if unsure where a certain casino was located does not mean we should assume if the casino burned down to the ground or if bombs fell on the casino, or if a floating casino was lost at sea... that it means there are no chips, because we know for a fact that chips can leave a casino before any fire, hurricane, bombing and sinking in the ocean... Any such statement that there are no chips for many of these reasons is most likely inaccurate... grin
