Has to go through its entire life as a Bacon Lettuce & Tomato truck. I'll be that Chevy doesn't even like eating sandwiches!

I once had to replace the tailgate on my Toyota (thanks, Sunday-morning dismantler outside my house) and had to accept one that was painted over. I painted half of the raised letters to make it read "OTA" which was its nickname, and for years afterward, everyone recognized my little truck.

But the best (or saddest, if you will) was a MITSUBISHI pickup whose grumpy owner painted out the M, U, second and fourth I, and the H to come up with . . . figure it out. Guess he was fed up with repair bills.
