While not my plan, Jim's posting is borne of a suggestion submitted to the CCA's Suggestion Box initiative, that appeared in the November issue of the CCA Newsletter, along with several other suggestions. As noted in the CCA Newsletter:

"The purpose of this Section is to allow all of our viewers a chance to speak up
about what they feel my help our Club become even greater. All are welcome to
submit to me any ideas and thoughts. Submittals will be shared here, but they
must be sent to me via email to: vergatos@msn.com. I do this so that they can
be meticulously organized and implemented, or, forwarded, to the appropriate
Club Chair(s).

I would also ask that you offer your assistance in implementing your suggestion.
This will ensure that your suggestion can be accomplished much sooner than
expected and offer the Club a new benefit. When listed here, Suggestions will be
anonymous, so please feel free to express your ideas openly. The suggestions
listed will have a disposition to show their progress."

In this instance, the suggestion was placed onto the CCA Board's Agenda for discussion at the Mid-Year Board Meeting.

While it is preferable for these comments to be posted at the CCA's Message Board, please know that the comments being made will be noted for the Board discussion. (The reason I prefer to have these CCA-related topics discussed on the Club's message board, is because the Club's message board is an asset of the CCA and accordingly, the discussions are a part of the Club's history and the digital archives there, are the property of the Club. The same cannot be said of discussions here.)
