I'll bet it happens frequently, where somebody rejects Rick's offer, goes home and tries to eke out that additional 30% to 50% of the value that they would sacrifice if they sold to Rick. They find out the market is not there, that one buyer can't be found, the auction fees are too high, or it's just too much trouble. And they go right back to the shop and take the offer.
