I talked with my mail carrier last night. I have been getting my mail between 8pm-9pm every night. It used to come by 3 pm (like clockwork). I actually feel bad for her.
She told me that there are too many packages (and mail too). It’s like Christmas everyday. They can’t keep up...and sometimes fill up their little trucks with mail and have to return to pick up their 2nd half of their deliveries for the day.
They also get people calling into work saying that they “might” of been exposed to covid...so they don’t have to work. They basically get 2 weeks off( to quarantine) whether they test or not.
It pretty much messes up the entire system with people trying to make up the work.
