~~~ of an unknown chip a bit too freely, especially without some sort of documentation such as either being seen in manufacturer and distributor catalogs through the years... or anything else pointing to the chip being a sample or prototype. We should not assume if we do not know... or even say possibly.
In my opinion, by loosely suggesting an unknown chip may possibly be a sample or prototype; especially when it closely resembles a well-known chip/series, is virtually giving that chip a pass in being a chip closely associated with a chip or series it resembles... and, even worse, when that unknown chip is listed at ChipGuide with those chips we know are from a casino/club, may strongly suggest that it is somewhat related to the casino/club.Yes, I realize we need to show that "assumed" sample/prototype chip at ChipGuide but, when we do include it with the actual casino/club chips, I think.we need to come up with language that actually says there is no known proof it is a sample or prototype; maybe in red type or enter it at the bottom of the page and away from what we know to be actual casino/club chips.
