Re: Wonder what hammer would have been if slabbed

Steve, the thing that confuses me the most is your unwillingness to accept invitations to join our club, yet, you will go through great lengths in explaining your views as to how our club can become so much better.

I have asked you in the past to give it a shot and even suggested you and Jerry get together to talk shop... and Jerry followed by inviting you to lunch for the same reason and you turned down his invitation right here saying you're not a "club person" or something close to that effect.

It's very obvious, Steve, that there are folks here who agree with some of your suggestions and it wouldn't be as if you were standing alone if you made some of those suggestions in a more formal manner than here on a message board not designed to handle club matters.

All I can say, Steve, is it wouldn't hurt to contact Jerry to discuss whatever it is you wish... You have nothing to lose and you will at least know you gave it a shot to get your suggestions heard in private.
