The proof is there john...slabbing has propelled a myriad of collectibles to new heights.

It just amazes me how a group who constantly laments it's dwindling membership is so unwilling to make any changes to entice a younger demographic. The club seems to think "kiddie bags" is the key to the hobby's future, so yeah, on the off chance a kid does stick to chip collecting, in about 25 years when they have disposable income, they might inject some cash into the hobby....maybe.

I personally would never have a slabbed chip in my collection, but i would love to sell all the chips i can at a premium to buyers who don't care about memories, experiences, touch, feel, etc. The buyers i want are just like those in other hobbies, buyers who only care about the grade, and will pay a premium for it.
