In reality you were already paying fees on sales tax anyway. Before managed payments, eBay was taking 10% of purchase price plus shipping and PayPal was taking their cut of everything INCLUDING SALES TAX. PayPal was collecting the sales tax instead of eBay, taking their cut and then paying eBay the full sales tax so you were already loosing a cut of the sales tax but now it will be a much larger cut when eBay takes their 12.35%
