I didn’t see any newspaper articles about a Gladiators Club in Redding, Ca. (There is also a Redding in Connecticut...but doubtful these chips are from there)
My guess....only a guess....is that it was probably some sort of poker club or an unlicensed card room that went defunct because of the California Card Room Law that went into effect (1982...I think??)
