Mystery CA Card Club #1 - Gladiator's Redding

One of the things I enjoy about collecting CA chips is the history and more often than not the MYSTERY of some of these clubs. Gladiator's in Redding (81-83) is deinitely one of them. I know that it had a fire and that many chips were burned/destroyed. I also heard that one buyer bought the majority of the inventory that was left. Travis over on his site Chipdonkeys has a pic of around 170 of the $1s.

He was kind enough to give me a pretty nice $1 to go with my miracle find of a $25. Would love to be able to find a $5 or $100 someday.

I think the chips are just great looking and would love to know more about the actual club. So my questions are...

1.) Does anyone know anything about this club? Did it burn down or just have a small fire. Owner?
2.) Where exactly was it located. I know Bonilli Street but where on Bonilli?
3.) Does anyone have any other chips from there or memorabilia? Who bought the inventory?

Hoping some of you CA collectors can help shed some light on this club.

Thanks for any info!
