About a month ago, there was a Sunset Club $1 chip offered twice on eBay from the seller "LRapley" with no sales. Looking at the ChipGuide, it mentions a horde of this chip discovered in 2017. I emailed the seller after the two auctions ended with an offer to purchase. My offer was obviously lower than his opening bid, but because of the increase in chip availability, I thought I had a chance at a lower price. I was completely ignored by the seller. I feel that the seller should have at least answered my correspondence no matter what the circumstance. If he did not like the offer, I feel he should have let me know which possibly could have opened the door for further discussion. If anyone has an opinion on "eBay ethics", or the behavior of this seller, I look forward to the debate.
