and I think that you may be over-reacting to what he was asking. You quoted him as follows:

"I am not a big believer in coincidence and the fact that you have never bought any of my chips previously and this time have bid only on the chips this other collector does not have in his collection makes me think that this is the case."

"I have blocked that person for a good reason, actually three accounts he has been trying to purchase chips with. I will never, ever sell chips to him again and will do all I can to ensure he doesn't buy chips from me."

"So unless I am completely wrong and this IS the biggest coincidence I've seen in 10 years selling on ebay I will be forced to cancel all your bids on those particular items, I am going to gather that you didn't get told I blocked this particular buyer and you were just trying to help out a fellow collector out."

I am not convinced that this was an unreasonable question. And the fact that he did it through email, tells me that he was being up front with you, and if you simply would have said, "I am bidding for myself" there would be no issue here.

Did you reply to his question, or just ignore it?

I know Tim Harry to be an exceptional person. Kind, generous and understanding. I do believe that the screwing he got from that blocked eBayer has taken on a life of its own, however, his question was simple enough.
