Trading has not completely disapeared

I am in the final stages of a trade. A while back I posted a picture of a few California chips I picked up at a street fair. (end of summer). Well a couple weeks ago I got a note from a collector wanting to know if I would be interested in a trade. He asked what I collect and when I said silver casino tokens from anywhere he said ok. A couple days later I got a scan of misc silver coins and casino silver tokens. Perfect, and so we are now on our final couple emails. I earlier today sent him scans of the chips he asked for. I expect him to have the thumbs up as I gave him in my opinion the better end of the trade. Better end only if you factor in only values. I also like that we helped each other with each of our collections.

And yes, it did take time, a good bit of it. But we are both happy and in the end that's what its about. Heck, how many times a day can you check in here. Take part of that time and do a trade. Just don't be hard nosed and stuck on book values. This is a hobby and should be fun, so keep it fun.
