Correct. The 4th Earl of Sandwich explained ~~~

~~~ exactly what he wanted since he was so fond of the two slices of bread wrapping. Thus he being the inventor; or at least taking credit for the wrapped content and being named as his "title"... Lord or Sandwich.

Personally, I think the idea was around way before him...
