Re: How many people do you know who have repaired

I have had a few broken chips and I can tell you that if you glue it back together it will be noticeable that it has been repaired. At least none of mine came out good enough that you couldn't see the crack line. What most of the discussion about repairing in previous years was about was something like filling a drill hole and being able to do it good enough so that the only way to tell it has been repaired is to xray it. There are people out there who can do it good enough to avoid detection except by xray. This was a huge issue in 2002 when the Brass Core problem was uncovered.

rather than glue I would use an airtite
