Any idea (or guesses) as to what happened to the other 390? Never awarded, then melted down at some point? Or ... ???

Since these pieces have numbers, they would be trackable, if owners divulged serial numbers.

Again, a nice piece. I'm glad it sells in excess of melt value, so it's worthwhile to keep intact rather than destroy for the gold content.

And one of the pieces in this series has a notable (though unfortunate) history / footnote in club history.
