Are you taking the side of the people eating the horse-meat and saying that it's OK?

What about all those sharks out there in the oceans getting butchered (just for their fins)? They are an important part of the water's ecology, and mankind is yet again screwing that up.

However, with horses I don't know.. that's a tough one. Are they farming them for their meat like cattle/sheep/pigs? If so, then that's another story.

I've had donkey-meat tacos before (a long time ago). It was OK.
