Re: Old poker Chip Question? Machined style chips

I've always assumed the circles on the surface of these chips were made by circles machined on the molding die. Normally the molding dice have smooth fields; these just have machined circls on them. Would require nothing done to the chip after molding, and of course the inlay would be in place during the molding.

Anyone have another theory?
